Piedmont College, a NCAA Division-III member of the Great South Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Piedmont College is located in northeast Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, opponent scouting, player development, camps/tournaments, the daily overall operation of the program, tape exchange and editing, and all other duties assigned by the head coach.
Bachelor’s degree required. Must be able to follow the requirements of the NCAA Division III, the GSAC, and the mission of Piedmont College. Must be able to communicate effectively and foster positive relations with prospective and enrolled student-athletes, fellow coaches, athletics and college administration, and the general public; and have a clear understanding of the role of athletics within the college community.
