Responsible for the entire Menís and Womenís Track and Field program. Duties include, but are not limited to, coaching, recruiting qualified student-athletes, fund raising, developing schedules, identify, supervise and oversee assistant coaches, budget management, developing community support for the program and monitoring academic progress of student athletes. Must be knowledgeable of applicable NCAA rules. Candidates will also serve as an Instructor in Physical Education Department, teaching a variety of courses as assigned by the Director of Physical Education.

Qualifications: Masters degree. Minimum of 6 years of coaching experience on the collegiate level required. Candidates must have educational background, expertise and experience to teach college level courses in Physical Education. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and supervise assistant coaches. National Coaching certification preferred. Excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, organizational abilities, event planning, fund raising, financial management and demonstrated recruiting ability Must be able to work weekends/evenings and travel.
