  • The person selected for this opportunity will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing program to both on and off-campus constituencies to maximize attendance at all Pioneer athletic events. Responsibilities will also include development and placement of all advertising including multiple message board systems; development and execution of individual game day promotions; and development, placement, evaluation and tracking of social media outlet advertising. Assist Athletic Development Specialist with Pioneer Club, capitol campaign and execution of corporate sponsor program, business membership program and advertising sales; with oversight, production and scheduling of electronic media for game days; and with planning and oversight of event management including game staff. Serve as one of the advisors to the Pioneer Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
  • Bachelorís degree is required prior to start date. Preference will be given to candidates with educational background, expertise, experience or transferable skills to perform the responsibilities as outlined and a desire to work in college athletics. Ability to manage multiple tasks is required. Candidates must have excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, and must be able to work weekends/evenings including some travel. Prefer experience with Photoshop, organizational abilities, and event planning. Funding for this position is limited to individuals who meet the criteria for ethnic minorities and women set by the NCAA.
