  • Assist in the development and administration of a comprehensive recreational sports and fitness program for students, faculty, staff, and members of a diverse campus community. Assist in administration of a diverse and comprehensive intramural and recreational sports program and club sports program, and facility management of the Adler Athletic Complex. Also, assist in the promotion, scheduling, supervision and evaluation of all intramural activities. Hire, train, supervise and evaluate intramural staff. This job has an emphasis on creating and maintaining sport and fitness programs in a dynamic team atmosphere that promotes strong customer service relations and satisfaction. Requires Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) or equivalent in Physical Education, Sports Administration, Recreation or related field, plus one year of work-related experience in a recreational sports setting. Coaching experience preferred. Employee supervision, event management, and computer experience desired. Additional opportunities for coaching various sports may be available. Ex: Cross Country, Swimming, etc. Hours are 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during academic semesters. Regular daytime hours during the summer.
