Title: Assistant Football Coach
Description: Hartwick College an NCAA Division III institution and member of the Empire 8 seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Football Coach (defensive) for the 2009-10 academic year (nine-month intern appointment). Responsibilities include coaching practices and competitions, recruiting prospective student-athletes, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and/or Director of Athletics in accordance with applicable rules and regulations of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, College, Empire 8, NCAA and other related associations. The position will also include a secondary responsibility and administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Competitive stipend of $16,300 and an offer of a fringe benefit package.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with playing and/or coaching experience at the college level. The successful candidate must possess leadership, role modeling, organizational, and interpersonal skills and have an understanding of NCAA Division III regulations. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the College.
