Job DescriptionCrown College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applications for the position of Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach effective immediately. This position is part-time. Crown College seeks coaches who demonstrate a strong commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of Crown College to provide a biblically based education for Christian leadership in The Christian and Missionary Alliance, the church-at-large, and the world. Candidates must be able to demonstrate expertise in coaching basketball at the intercollegiate level or high school level.
Crown College participates in the NCAA Division III and in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. This candidate must be willing to embrace the mission of the College, relating their faith to their coaching. This position will work under the direct supervision of the Head Coach for Men’s Basketball. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: recruiting of qualified student-athletes, assisting in practice planning, academic monitoring, scouting, and all aspects of home and away game preparation. This position comes with a stipend of $2,500.00. Applicants should send a cover letter and resume that describes their coaching experience. It is also requested that applicants include a philosophy of coaching statement that includes your vision for the integration of faith and athletics within a Christian college context

Job RequirementsRequires bachelor's degree and experience as a high school or collegiate basketball coach/player. Commitment to a Christian educational education and the Christian faith.
