Job DescriptionMacMurray College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men's Basketball and Baseball Coach/Residence Life Athletic Liaison. This is ten-month position in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in the overall administration, coaching and logistics of each program, maintain and build own recruiting area and other duties to be assigned. Participate in RA training, provide two programs per month for the residence hall community on fitness and health, one night per week of residence life duty, serve as the staff member on duty for breaks when student athletes are required to stay on campus, serve as a role model and resource person for all students, and respond to all emergencies when in the building.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree, collegiate playing and/or coaching experience, excellent communication skills, leadership and organizational abilities, and a dedication to recruiting. Experience at all positions will be considered.
Job BenefitsRoom, partial board and $5000 stipend. Opportunity to substitute teach during school year to supplement stipend.
