Job DescriptionThe position is a full time, 12-month appointment reporting directly to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Athletics. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to continue the College’s tradition of balancing a rigorous academic program with the desire to achieve athletic excellence. The head coach will be responsible for directing all aspects of the football program, including, but not limited to, recruitment of qualified student-athletes reflecting the undergraduate profile, preparing for competition, and supervision of staff. The finalist will be expected to support the academic areas of the College and to teach and assist in administrative activities.
Job RequirementsMaster’s degree in education or related field and five years of coaching experience including experience at the college level are required. Demonstrated understanding of the philosophy of a residential liberal arts institution and NCAA Division III desired. Experience as a student-athlete or coach at a non-scholarship, residential liberal arts and sciences institution beneficial.
