Job DescriptionAssistant Women’s Basketball Coach, The College at Brockport, State University of New York, part-time 10-month position. Responsible for assisting the head women’s basketball coach in all aspects of coaching a highly-competitive NCAA Division III women’s basketball program, including practice and game preparation, skill development, scouting, and fundraising, with particular importance placed on supervision, recruitment, and providing leadership for quality student-athletes. Candidates are expected to represent the women’s basketball program and the athletic department in a professional, dignified, and positive manner at all times, and in turn expect the same manner of behavior from team members.
Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; successful basketball coaching and/or playing experience. Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse population. Preferred Qualification: Collegiate coaching experience.
Job BenefitsCompensation: $5,000 plus the opportunity for one free graduate class per semester.
