Job DescriptionPosition Description: This is a twelve (12) month full-time academic staff position in Academic Advising (75%) and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (25%).
Job RequirementsAdvising: Assist freshman students with program planning, general course selection and other academic support. Assist with summer Preview Sessions, Priority Registrations and Campus Preview Days. Advisors will each teach one section of the New Student Seminar in addition to other duties as assigned by the Director of the Academic Advising and Exploration Center.
Coaching: Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program including, but not limited to, compliance with NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations, coaching, recruiting, practice and game preparation, monitoring student-athletes? academic progress, and fund raising.
Qualifications: Master?s Degree required. Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills. Successful football coaching experience at the collegiate level with defensive and special teams experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and staff from diverse socioeconomic, sexual orientation, disability, cultural and ethnic backgrounds required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
