Job DescriptionMacMurray College, located in Jacksonville, Illinois invites applications for the position of assistant Women’s Basketball and Softball coach/Residence Life Athletic Liaison. This is ten-month position in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. MacMurray is an NCAA Division III member institution as well as a member of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in the overall administration, coaching and logistics of each program, maintain and build own recruiting area and other duties to be assigned. Participate in RA training, provide two programs per month for the residence hall community on fitness and health, one night per week of residence life duty, serve as the staff member on duty for breaks when student athletes are required to stay on campus, serve as a role model and resource person for all students, and respond to all emergencies when in the building. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing and/or coaching experience, excellent communication skills, leadership and organizational abilities, and a dedication to recruiting. Experience at all positions will be considered.
