Job DescriptionAllegheny College, a rigorous selective liberal arts college and NCAA Division 3 member of the North Coast Athletic Conference invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach (secondary or defensive line experience preferred). This is a ten-month, part-time intern position. Bachelor’s degree required; Masters Degree preferred.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the head coach with the organization and direction of the defensive skill positions of the NCAA Division 3 football program. Specific responsibilities include identification and on the road recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assisting with the management of equipment, team travel, public/alumni relations and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. The successful candidate must possess and will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, good work ethic and self-motivation, the ability and willingness to be a positive role model, department member and representative of the College.
