Job DescriptionNorthland College, an NCAA Division III institution, is accepting applications for a head coach for its Women’s Basketball Program. This is a full-time (10-month) position with 50% of this position dedicated to basketball. The remaining 50% of the position’s responsibilities will be determined based upon the interests and skills of the candidate. Examples of additional responsibilities could include teaching, sports information or other athletic department assignments or other activities.
Responsibilities: Direct all aspects of operations for an intercollegiate women’s basketball program. Establish and execute a plan for competitive game strategies, schedule games, recruit student athletes, supervise team members during off-campus trips, arrange transportation and lodging, and manage the program and its budget in a manner which reflects Northland’s commitment to quality competition and ethical behavior.

Job RequirementsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and three years of previous successful coaching experience are required. The successful candidate will have solid oral and written communication skills; appreciation for and support of the scholar-athlete concept; vision, energy and integrity to lead the program to higher levels of achievement and recognition.
