Job DescriptionSouthwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach with secondary duties tentatively as the assistant track coach. This is an entry-level position with coaching responsibilities that include but are not limited to the administration of daily basketball operations, recruiting, team training, home event management, practice organization, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coaches. Experience as an athlete and/or coach at an advanced level is necessary.
Job RequirementsA bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. The successful candidate is expected to comply with departmental guidelines set forth by Southwestern University, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and the NCAA Division III.
Job BenefitsThis is a 9-month, full-time position with benefits. Stipend range is $19,000-$21,600. This position also includes the option of room and board under the University's Resident Associate program.
