Job DescriptionCornell College, Mount Vernon, IA invites applications for three part-time assistant football coaching positions. Cornell is a member of the Iowa Conference, one of the toughest D III conferences in the country. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. All positions require a minimum of three years experience, and ability to effectively operate the LRS computer system for video analysis and game breakdown. Positions may also include off-campus recruiting in a territory to be determined and other administrative duties as assigned.
Positions include:
Offensive line (OL) assistant with preferred experience in wing-t/option oriented system. Ability to effectively plan and organize OL segment for practice and make necessary adjustments on game day.
Wide Receivers (WR) assistant with preferred experience in wing-t/option oriented system. Ability to effectively plan and organize WR segment and Skelly segment for practice. Game day press box duty with specific functions.
Defensive Backs (DB) or Defensive Line (DL) assistant with preferred experience in an even front system. Ability to effectively plan and organize either the DB or DL segment for practice. If DB, must also have the ability to run Skelly segment, if DL, ability to run inside segment. Game day, could be either on press box or field, depending on DC’s needs.
